Bob stood today!

From Barbara:

Have you heard? - Bob stood up today, for the first time. I saw it, with tears. He held on to the bars on each side, and as the physical therapist encouraged him, he drew himself to standing, then pumped his arm in the air, shouting, "I'm up! I did it!"

Go Bob!! I imagine it seems like a slow process to you, but from out here it seems amazingly fast to be able to stand on your legs and increase the beneficial physical therapy process! Hope you are enjoying playing music more now as well. We have finally had some sunshine for a few days in a row up here in Maine, and it seems that we may actually have a summer after all. Lots of love to you from your cousin Jane in Maine!

Hi Bob,
Just thinking of you this morning. Wondering about the people you are meeting through this challenging time and wishing we lived nearby so a visit now and then to give you a hug would be a breeze. With love from Jane, your cousin in Maine.
